Abstract
Pubalgia is often encountered in sports traumatology, especially in ball sports and especially football.
Three entities are described:
- suprapubic pubalgia
- pubic arthropathy
- subpubic pubalgia
The precise clinical examination makes it possible to discriminate between these 3 entities which are rarely associated.
Manual Medicine and Medical Osteopathy have their place in the management of these 3 entities. The various diagnostic approaches, complementary examinations and above all therapeutic are presented to you here.
Mobilizations and manipulations of the spine, pelvis and pubic joint as well as certain infiltrative techniques are discussed.
